A palaeontologist discovers a new fossil and claims it is a new species of dinosaur, but is it? You must discover what’s behind his claim. You will excavate and investigate coprolites (dino poo), dino’s teeth and footprints. You will classify different types of dinos and look at their bone structure all as evidence in the investigation. By the end of the day you must have accumulated enough evidence to challenge the palaeontologist and justify your case to the media.
