Your students will study bubbles and foam, from the humble soap bubble to insulating foams, we will look at a wide range of bubble usage. Students will design and complete experiments to examine what makes bubbles round, measure the thickness of a bubble's film, see why bubbles are coloured, examine factors in food foam stability, foam absorbent capacity and insulating properties. Plus how to blow a giant bubble! The approach will be investigation based, with students designing, planning, carrying out and drawing conclusions from several experiments.
