Jungle Jim's Treasure Trail

Jungle Jim has found a treasure map. Help him find the best route to the treasure. You will have to overcome some obstacles on the way. Build a bridge across the river, make a machine to shoot you over the mountain ranges, negotiate your way across the bog, decipher the coded message to lead to the goal and then find a way of getting to the treasure at the bottom of an unapproachable valley. It's all about energy - storing it and using it. Teams race to the hiding place and there are prizes for the winners.

Learning Outcome: Students will aquire a greater understanding of energy, change of energy forms and Newton's three laws of motion in addition to some information on materials and their properties.
